• Chatbot conversations: Messages you send to our AI chatbot are forwarded to our LLM provider (Ollama) to generate responses. Conversation history is stored in your browser cookies, not on our servers.
• Images uploaded to chatbot: If you upload an image to the chatbot, it is stored in your browser cookies for the duration of your session and sent to the vision model for analysis.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is used for security and performance monitoring.
• Cookies and local storage: We use cookies and local storage for: dark mode preference, chat history, post view counts, and theme settings. No tracking cookies or third-party analytics are used.

How we use your data

• To respond to your contact form submissions and provide support.
• To generate AI chatbot responses using our LLM provider.
• To improve our content and website performance.
• To prevent abuse and protect against spam.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking pixels.
• We do not use advertising trackers.
• We do not share your contact form submissions with anyone except the site owner.
• We do not store chatbot conversations on our servers (they live in your browser cookies).

Third-party services

• Cloudflare: Hosts our website and provides CDN, DNS, and edge functions. Cloudflare may collect server logs as described in their privacy policy.
• Ollama: Provides the AI model API for our chatbot. Your chat messages are sent to Ollama's API to generate responses. Ollama's privacy policy applies to data they process.
• MailChannels: Sends contact form submissions to our email inbox. Your email address and message are included in the email.

Data retention

• Contact form submissions are stored in our database indefinitely unless you request deletion.
• Chatbot history is stored in your browser cookies for 30 days, then automatically deleted.
• Server logs are managed by Cloudflare according to their retention policies.

Your rights

Children's privacy
